Private Lessons
Private lessons provide the focused attention that players rarely receive during school or club team practices These sessions help players enhance their individual skills, including attacking, blocking, serve receive, serving, setting, and individual defense. Sessions are customized to the goals of each player and include the use of video as needed to provide immediate feedback and allow players to see where their form/mechanics are breaking down or need adjustment.
Lessons can be private (1-1 ratio) or organized foir small groups.
Private lessons run for 1 hour and are currently offered at FernLeaf Community charter School in Fletcher and at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler.
Volleyball-Specific Personal Training
Strength and conditioning is a key component for players looking to take their game to the next level. The game of volleyball requires the essential qualities of strength, agility, quickness, power and explosiveness, body awareness and control, core strength, flexibility, and lateral speed. Success is not just about completing the skill ( i.e. pass, attack, set), but the efficiency of movement in getting to the ball to begin with. Volleyball-specific personal training sessions are customized to the needs of each player and may include include any or all of the following: agility training, strength training, plyometrics, speed work, reaction time drills, flexibility (yoga), and mindfulness and mental training.
